Request from Dorset CCG.
Would it be possible to add the the assigned Social Worker to the MDT view please? (see attached image)
The reason for this request is that when we issue invites to MDT we will always include the Local Authority team inbox as well as the Social Worker (if known).
The LA will then log into the Back Office to check which social worker has been assigned to the case.
The reasoning is twofold;
  1. They can confirm that the social worker assigned is correct/can attend.
  2. Where there is no social worker assigned/available the LA can follow up/find someone and notify us.
There is an underlying third reason for this which is why I've categorized this a 'B'. The CCG needs to be able to cover all possible scenarios with our LA partners where something could be missed. If the organization has sight of the social worker (assigned or blank) then neither the LA team or the social worker assigned can claim ignorance if they decide not to turn up to the DST!
